Steampunk Story Bundle Deal!

A Curious Invasion is hanging out with some AMAZING friends!

THE AIRSHIPS AND CLOCKWORK STEAMPUNK BUNDLE
The Airships and Clockwork Steampunk Bundle - Curated by Kevin J. Anderson

We are building up reading steam for a brand-new collection, the Airships and Clockwork Steampunk StoryBundle.
I've put together a baker's dozen titles of gears and zeppelins, mechanical dragons, lost cities, frock coats, and tea, the best books from indie authors, all for whatever price you choose to pay. A portion of the money directly benefits the Challenger Learning Center for Space Science Education, and the earnings support indie authors.
In my own Mr. Wells & the Martians, join H.G. Wells and his professor T.H. Huxley on an urgent mission to Mars to prevent the war of the worlds. Also, specially created for this StoryBundle, the Clockwork Boxed Set includes both of my steampunk fantasy adventure novels coauthored with Neil Peart, the late, legendary lyricist and drummer from Rush—Clockwork Angels and Clockwork Lives.
Anthea Sharp's The Perfect Perfume shows you the Victorian era like you've never imagined it before! Twelve enthralling alternate-history tales featuring intrepid heroines, hidden magic, and rollicking steampunk adventure. Marie Andreas brings Vampires, aliens, and tea—oh my! to A Curious Invasion.
Clockwork Gears and Magic Swords by Lousia Swann is a StoryBundle exclusive! Magic and gears and a taste of the weird—seven grand adventures that tickle the soul and tease the imagination. Imagine moving from New York to California on a steam-powered horse with a giant for a companion in J.R. Murdock's Golden West: Westward, Ho!
Robert E. Vardeman's Gateway to Rust and Ruin: Their world was used up. Now they want ours, steam and all. Kristen S. Walker puts on steampunk lenses to show the truth about a pop singer's dark past in Amena's Rise to Stardom. Kevin McLaugliin's Midnight Visitors: When her person becomes the target of assassination, what's a poor cat to do? Solve the problem with tooth, claw, and brains!
In Mechanical Dragons: Fire and Water, Bobbi Schemerhorn warns that mixing inexperience with magic may cause dragons! Gun magic fuels an epic adventure in Tenlyres by Timothy Niederriter. Stroll through Tracy Cembor's Gaslight Carnival, where fancy and freak walk hand in hand. And finally, Travis Heermann has a steampunk-horror novella, Where the Devil Resides—a supernatural Apocalypse Now. With alligators. Kevin J. Anderson

A whole new ....Universe!

Yeah, yeah, some of you now have a song in your head--sorry about that 😛.

Just a bit of a shout out that a new world is being launched! As mentioned last week, there are a lot of books coming up in 2020 and 2021. (I was writing A LOT last year!)

The first one up is the new urban fantasy thriller-- The Girl with the Iron Wing.

This book actually started a while ago, but then a cartload of drunken faeries, space mercs, and Victorian vampires took over. Working at a full time evil day job means choices must be made and this got shoved to the side as much as I loved it. Finishing two other series gave me some breathing room, and...leaving the day job THIS September will give me more! You heard it here first!

I love a lot of sub-genres (in case ya didn't notice 😏) and changing things up keeps everything fresh in my often wild brain. Diving into this one and writing it has been a lot of fun and hopefully you'll all come along for the ride!

Death is stalking the fey.

Thousands of years ago, the fey races crossed the Veil into the human world to save themselves.

Hundreds of years ago, the fey saved humanity from being wiped out by the Black Death.

Now something is coming after the fey—from Earth and from beyond the Veil.

As a detective with the LAPD, Aisling Danaan has seen it all, and as an elf from a powerful, guarded clan, she sees more than most. But no one has ever seen a fairy explode from iron poisoning.

The winged fey who died was one of various fey races that outnumber humans in a world where the Black Death nearly wiped out humanity. Over time, the species mingled, and magic and technology developed equal standing. But the strange and violent murder threatens to unbalance the peace that the fey High Council brought through the Veil.

Called out by name by the killer, Aisling must unravel a tangle of secrets reaching deeper and wider than any case she’s ever worked. And one of the most vexing mysteries is super spook Reece Larkin. With badges from too many questionable agencies, the sexy, troublesome spy seems to know more than he’s willing to share—and what he won't tell could kill them. They’ll have to work together to hunt down the source of the poisoning before the entire fey population on Earth is destroyed by the Iron Death.

New books, new directions! Aka--we don't need no stinkin' MAPS!

Hello and welcome back!

After a wee bit of a hiatus this blog is back and will be filled with rambling, ranting, insights (hopefully) and general mayhem. Some surprises too ;).

What's new in the Marie Andreas book world? Thanks for asking!

The Adventures of Smith & Jones--Book 2--The Mayhem of Mermaids. Took far longer than hoped, but it's out! Nettie, Caden, and the gang are looking into some water based high jinks in Llandudno and Conwy, Wales. The Mayhem of Mermaids

THEN we have a bunch of new worlds coming! Yes, maps aren't needed, but you may want to hang on--2020 and 2021 is going to get wild. Lots of new folks and some new adventures for old friends.

End of March will see the launch of The Girl with the Iron Wing. The first book in the new urban fantasy thriller series-- Broken Veil. Pre-order will be up next weekend. She's an elf and a LA cop. International gangsters are bringing an horrific new drug to town, and something evil is crossing the veil between worlds.

THEN! At the end of May, will be the first book in a new epic Fantasy trilogy-- The Essence of Chaos! No pretty cover yet-- it's being designed this month! Jenna finds herself torn into another world--one on the brink of disaster. She might be the key but to which outcome?

Later in Fall we have the starts of two new trilogies with some old friends. Vas and the gang have a new adventure concerning a certain pirate. Taryn and some drunk faeries have problems in the south-- and the faeries must let loose the kittahs of WAR! (or go drinking--hard to tell.)

There are more coming but this is long enough. I am always working on a book or two, and love telling my stories.

Stay tuned for up dates and welcome back!
